Description
The Quality Engineer applies quality principles across design, incoming materials, production control, product evaluation, reliability, inventory, and research and development. The role performs technical evaluations, collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers, investigates product failures, manages corrective and preventive actions, evaluates quality systems, and develops inspection, testing, and supplier-performance strategies. The position requires experience with technical evaluations, cross-functional quality collaboration, performance-improvement systems, and quality-system evaluation; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Certified Quality Engineer certification, cross-functional leadership, and root-cause investigation experience are desired. The full-time salary range is $85,300 to $158,300, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, retirement matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
