Description
The Quality Engineer applies quality principles across design, production, materials, testing, reliability, inventory, and supplier quality; performs technical evaluations, failure investigations, corrective and preventive actions, statistical analysis, inspection planning, and supplier certification. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a STEM or business-related field, experience with root-cause analysis, corrective action, manufacturing metrics, quality systems, and supplier quality resolution, plus MS Office proficiency. Desired qualifications include CQE or CMQOE certification, AS9100 knowledge, Six Sigma or DMAIC experience, and composites or 3D-modeling expertise.
