Description
Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a full-time Quality Engineer to lead strategic quality projects and production-quality process improvements, coordinate corrective actions and reliability reviews, and improve yield, inspection, and supplier performance. The role applies quality principles across design, manufacturing, R&D, and supply chain; performs technical and statistical analyses; conducts audits and assessments for ISO-9001/AS9100 compliance; and serves as the final authority on product acceptability. Candidates need a bachelor-level technical or quality-related education or equivalent experience, prior Quality Engineer and project-management experience, root-cause analysis and nonconforming-material experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain or maintain a secret clearance. The salary range is $118,000 to $219,100, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, and other benefits.
