Description
The Manager, Quality Engineering leads quality engineering strategy and a team of Quality Engineers at BD’s WWISD Design Center in San Diego. The role oversees compliance with 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485, supports medical device design and product maintenance, leads risk management and design controls, develops quality systems and technical solutions, and provides leadership for multidisciplinary projects. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related discipline, at least 10 years of progressive quality assurance experience in an FDA-regulated industry, and at least 3 years of direct management experience. The position is based in San Diego, California, with an annual salary range of $131,600 to $210,500 USD.
