Description
Blue Origin is hiring a Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance Manager to lead manufacturing quality operations in its aerospace and space systems organization. The role manages and develops a team of Quality Engineers and Specialists, oversees AS9100 compliance and audits, drives continuous improvement and corrective actions, tracks quality KPIs, supports the quality budget, partners across engineering, supply chain, and test functions, and represents Quality in hardware reviews, launch readiness reviews, customer audits, and regulatory interactions. Candidates need 8+ years of progressive quality engineering or management experience, including 3+ years of direct people management, with expertise in aerospace or advanced manufacturing quality systems, nonconformance and corrective action processes, AS9102 First Article Inspection, and root cause analysis.
