Ford is hiring a Quality Engineering Specialist at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan to ensure lithium-ion battery cells meet quality, safety, and performance standards throughout manufacturing. The role monitors process parameters and SPC data, leads root-cause analysis and corrective actions, manages change control and quality improvement projects, supports audits, ensures battery safety compliance, and coaches PQE technicians. Candidates need a high school diploma, technical-documentation skills, SPC and Minitab knowledge, and familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, PFMEA, and Six Sigma; a bachelor's degree, automotive experience, Li-ion knowledge, and CQE or CQA certification are preferred. The position is onsite, requires flexible shift work, and offers a base salary of $86,600 to $144,900 with medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage.
