Ford is hiring a Quality Engineering Specialist at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan to ensure lithium-ion battery cells meet quality, safety, and performance standards throughout manufacturing. The role monitors SPC, FAI, MES, FIFO, error-proofing, rework, and equipment qualification; leads root-cause analysis and corrective actions; manages change control and process improvement projects; supports audits; and coaches PQE technicians. The position requires a high school diploma, technical-documentation skills, SPC and Minitab knowledge, and familiarity with quality and process-improvement tools, with a preferred engineering degree and 3–5 years of automotive experience. It is an onsite, rotating-shift role with a base salary of $86,600–$144,900 and no visa sponsorship.
