Spirit AeroSystems is hiring an Aircraft Inspector in Wichita, Kansas, to perform detailed inspections of aircraft components using drawings, inspection manuals, precision measuring instruments, testing machines, and technical documentation. The role supports quality compliance, production and safety goals, certification maintenance, quality recordkeeping, and cross-training across assembly, composite, metals, process, and systems/payload structures. Applicants need at least two years of aircraft or mechanical experience or trade-school completion, blueprint-reading ability, computer proficiency, and the ability to work any shift; previous aircraft inspection, automotive, aerospace assembly, or aircraft maintenance experience is preferred. The position is union-represented and pays $23.66 to $39.32 per hour based on experience and level.
