Description
The Quality Inspector audits and samples manufactured parts, measures and tests components, determines whether parts meet specifications, records audit findings, assists with process improvements and employee training, and resolves inspection questions. The role requires basic reading, writing, arithmetic, blueprint and schematic interpretation, manual dexterity, computer understanding, machinery knowledge, and familiarity with measuring tools. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required, while previous manufacturing quality experience is preferred. The position is performed on the production floor of a manufacturing facility and may require lifting up to 35 pounds.
