Description
Barfield is hiring a full-time Shop Inspector to support its Quality Control department in an aviation shop. The role ensures compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and airworthiness requirements; inspects incoming materials, maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations; verifies inspection tools and test equipment; manages rejected parts; and maintains inspection records. Candidates need at least three years of aviation experience as a QC inspector or technician, knowledge of FARs and inspection methods, and familiarity with CMMs, schematics, basic electronics, and Microsoft Excel. College education and an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license are preferred.
