Description
The Manufacturing Quality Inspector performs in-process inspections on a manufacturing line using visual inspection, physical measurement, and functional testing with instruments such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and thread gages. The role also collects part samples, performs process audits, reads blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerance requirements, documents findings, participates in sorting and rework, and follows quality-system and compliance procedures. The position requires attention to detail, initiative, attendance, and overtime availability, with basic computer skills preferred, and pays $20 per hour.
