Description
Powell Canada is hiring a QA Inspector for its Electrical Division in Edmonton. The role reports to the Quality Supervisor and is responsible for inspecting and testing bus duct, low- and medium-voltage motor control, low- and medium-voltage switchgear, and PCR/E-Houses; performing customer-witnessed inspections; operating electrical and electronic equipment; conducting power-up and pre-commissioning checks; investigating failures; maintaining quality documentation; and coordinating with manufacturing, engineering, customers, and other departments. The position requires a relevant engineering diploma or degree, 0–3 years of manufacturing experience, electrical and mechanical knowledge, ability to read electrical drawings, and physical ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
