Petersen is hiring an NDI Quality Inspector in Farr West, Utah to perform visual, dimensional, and non-destructive inspections of parts according to drawings, customer specifications, and applicable codes. The role includes maintaining inspection documentation, assisting customer representatives, coordinating with project and production managers, mentoring lower-level inspectors, and working in a fabrication and machine shop environment. Candidates need a strong background in liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and visual weld inspection techniques, code interpretation, and Microsoft Office; AWS CWI and ASNT-TC-1A certifications are preferred. The position requires regular attendance, overtime, travel, and physical work involving standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and access to difficult inspection areas.
