Description
The Quality Inspector monitors manufacturing quality throughout the bus production process, inspects materials, components, assemblies, and completed buses, tests and measures products, documents defects, and produces inspection reports. The role also recommends process improvements, audits calibrated equipment, and manages the quality department’s employees, including performance management and hiring. It requires at least five years of manufacturing experience with supervisory experience, preferably a college degree, and experience with quality systems, statistics, Six Sigma, or other analysis methods.
