Description
RTCA is hiring a full-time, onsite Quality Inspector in Rockford, Michigan to inspect raw materials, in-process components, assemblies, and finished products in a precision aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. The role involves dimensional and visual inspection, engineering-drawing interpretation, AS9100 and ISO quality-system compliance, precision measurement, documentation, first-article inspection, nonconformance resolution, root-cause analysis, and mentoring. Candidates need quality-inspection experience, GD&T and precision-measurement knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems; CMM, SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, and mentoring experience are preferred.
