SMS group is hiring an Inspector to perform quality review and inspection of daily work-in-process throughout the plant. The role involves measuring roll diameters and lengths, comparing mechanical drawings to actual measurements, transporting rolls with cranes and forklifts, preparing rolls for shipping, and following established procedures and supervisor directions. The position requires a high school education or equivalent, a valid driver's license, the ability to read measurement instruments, excellent vision, and the ability to operate overhead remote cranes and Hilo equipment; one year of experience and prior industrial, manufacturing, or machining experience are preferred.
