Description
The Level B Quality Assurance Inspector inspects, tests, sorts, samples, and weighs raw materials and manufactured parts for defects, wear, and specification deviations; evaluates documentation; performs laboratory procedures; measures process performance; records data; and prepares reports. The role may use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment, requires reading blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings, and includes segregating nonconforming items and reporting inspection results. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a trade or technical college certificate is desired; five years of related manufacturing experience and two years of inspection-related experience are required.
