Description
Howmet Aerospace is hiring a Quality Inspector to inspect complex aerospace products throughout manufacturing and verify compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards. The role includes first-article inspections, capability studies, precision measurement with equipment such as CMMs and micrometers, inspection documentation, audits, nonconformance reporting, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with production and engineering teams. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, technical training in blueprint reading and inspection, 2–5 years of manufacturing inspection experience, GD&T and basic statistics knowledge, proficiency with measurement equipment and Microsoft Office, and experience with an ERP system.
