Description
The Quality Inspector – Final performs final inspection of finished products, including fiber-optic cable, using OTDR equipment, calipers, micrometers, and optical test equipment. The role evaluates compliance with customer, military, government, and industry standards; documents defects and nonconforming material; coordinates disposition; and supports data-collection projects through the online Syspro system. It requires a high school diploma or GED, strong inspection and communication skills, knowledge of ISO 9001 and MIL-STD requirements, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment lifting cable reels up to 50 pounds. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some schedule flexibility and overtime availability.
