Description
The Quality Assurance Inspector – Aerospace Machining inspects precision-machined aerospace components for dimensional accuracy, tolerances, surface finishes, material certifications, and traceability. The role includes interpreting aerospace drawings and GD&T, performing in-process and first-article inspections, documenting nonconformances, supporting corrective actions, and verifying machining setups and special-process records. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of machining inspection experience, and proficiency with precision measurement equipment; the position offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) matching program, paid holidays and vacation, and $23.00–$26.00 per hour.
