Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector inspects precision-machined aerospace components for dimensional accuracy, tolerances, surface finishes, material certifications, and traceability. The role involves reading aerospace drawings and GD&T, performing in-process and first-article inspections, documenting nonconformances, supporting corrective actions, and verifying machining setups and processes. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of machining inspection experience, and at least one year of blueprint interpretation experience; aerospace manufacturing experience and ASQ CQI certification are preferred. The position is performed on a manufacturing or machine-shop floor and pays $25.00–$30.00 per hour.
