Description
SpaceX is hiring a Quality Inspector to perform in-process and end-of-line inspections of flight hardware for the Dragon, Falcon, and Starship programs. The role verifies conformance to design requirements using drawings, CAD models, and precision tools; documents anomalies; supports root-cause analysis and corrective action; evaluates manufacturing compliance; and contributes to quality management and lean manufacturing initiatives. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of inspection experience in aerospace, military, or manufacturing environments. The position requires overtime or weekend work, lifting up to 25 pounds, travel of up to 10%, physical work in tight spaces, and cleanroom PPE. Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $44.00 per hour depending on inspector level, with medical, vision, dental, retirement, disability, life, paid leave, and other benefits.
