Description
The Lab Technologist conducts laboratory analyses to support the timely release of final products, including final-product testing, contamination-prevention, environmental, in-process, raw-material, and wastewater analyses. The role also maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment, troubleshoots analytical systems and networks, prepares analytical standards, documents results, supports investigations and improvement projects, maintains laboratory records, and provides training to operations and new team members. The position requires a minimum two-year degree with chemistry and analytical background, chemical-industry experience, safe chemical-handling knowledge, and at least one year of laboratory work experience.
