Description
The Quality Manager leads the Disassemble, Inspect, and Advise (DIA) process for heavy blast furnace equipment at the Valparaiso workshop. The role evaluates worn components, performs dimensional inspections and failure analysis, prepares technical reports and refurbishment recommendations, develops repair scopes and cost estimates, coordinates with internal departments and suppliers, conducts quality audits and supplier visits, and verifies refurbished equipment against engineering and customer requirements. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday on the day shift, with occasional travel to North American customer and supplier facilities.
