Socomec North America is hiring a Quality Specialist for Powersmiths, its North American hub for integrated power transformation, energy storage, power distribution system design, and manufacturing. The role ensures products comply with manufacturing specifications and company standards by leading root-cause analysis, controlling and closing non-conformances, conducting quality system audits, supporting supplier quality, reviewing customer and supplier documentation, partnering with design engineering, reducing manufacturing errors, and leading continuous improvement and lean initiatives such as 5S. The position requires a related bachelor’s degree, at least five years of related manufacturing quality experience, familiarity with ISO 9001/14001, quality core tools, inspection, corrective action, lean manufacturing, and problem-solving methods. Compensation is CAD 80,000–85,000, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship and able to travel internationally.
