Description
ABB is hiring an onsite Quality Manager in Pinetops, North Carolina, reporting to the Plant Quality Manager and primarily working the second shift from approximately 2:30 PM to midnight. The role manages quality testing, inspection, and technician teams; assesses safety risks; develops and coaches employees; drives process improvement; performs audits; and uses analytics to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances. The position requires at least five years of professional experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering, supervisory or management experience for managing 25 direct reports, and authorization to work in the United States. A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent is preferred, along with knowledge of quality tools, testing equipment, SAP, Microsoft Office, and Power BI.
