Description
The Quality Inspector inspects incoming materials, first pieces, work-in-process, and finished products against drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role uses calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other equipment to check dimensions, fit, appearance, and labeling; records inspection results; maintains product traceability; contains nonconforming materials; and supports defect investigations and quality improvements. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of hands-on quality inspection experience in manufacturing, the ability to read technical documents, knowledge of ISO 9001, and experience with inspection equipment.
