Description
The Quality Technician supports quality assurance, inspection, laboratory testing, and continuous compliance of in-process products and finished goods against industry standards, NOV Inc. procedures, and customer requirements. The role inspects and accepts or rejects products, investigates non-conformances, assists with corrective actions and audits, supports inspector training, performs laboratory testing, maintains quality records, and controls the removal of monograms from non-conforming products. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while three years of verifiable work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred; the role also requires API Q1 and ISO 9001 training, basic math, measurement and laboratory equipment skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
