Description
Applied Composites is hiring an NDT Technician II to perform ultrasonic testing on fabricated composite parts and products, including laminate and sandwich construction, to identify discontinuities such as cracks, inclusions, bonding defects, and porosity. The role involves reviewing test specifications, calibrating ultrasonic equipment, operating transducers and computerized inspection equipment, marking defective areas, and preparing test reports. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, an Ultrasonic Inspector Level III Certificate, 3–5 years of composite ultrasonic NDI testing experience, and knowledge of A-Scan, pulse-echo, and C-Scan methods.
