Description
The QA Laboratory Technician is responsible for laboratory operations, product testing, chemical analysis, product approvals, COAs, specifications, inventory tracking, calibration, audits, and the disposition of incoming and outgoing materials. The role supports food safety and quality requirements, evaluates test data, approves packaging and labels, and may cover laboratory technicians during vacations or calls. The position requires two to three years of laboratory experience, food manufacturing and sensory analysis knowledge, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma; college coursework in chemistry or related experience is preferred. The work environment involves varying temperatures and humidity, hazardous chemicals, and microbiological exposure.
