Description
The Materials Testing Engineer is responsible for maintaining QMM laboratory equipment, inspecting parts, preparing and archiving measurement reports, supporting engineers with additional testing tasks, and conducting internal verification of measuring instruments. The role requires an associate degree in a materials-related field, at least three years of experience including at least one year in metal materials analysis, and knowledge of sample preparation, chemical analysis, mechanical testing, hardness testing, metallography, and related inspection methods. Manufacturing, automotive, and joint-venture or wholly-owned enterprise experience are preferred.
