Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Quality Welding Engineer in Austin, Texas, to support the fabrication of ultra-high-purity gas delivery systems for semiconductor process equipment. The role owns weld quality across the fabrication lifecycle, including WPS/PQR development, welder qualification, orbital GTAW equipment qualification, cleanroom contamination control, weld inspection, metallurgical oversight of 316L stainless steel, and root-cause resolution. The position is based in a combined office and cleanroom manufacturing environment, requires cleanroom gowning, and may involve 10% domestic travel.
