Ocean Associates is seeking a full-time contract Fish Ecology Researcher to support NOAA Fisheries’ Northwest Fisheries Science Center in Seattle or Pasco, Washington. The role involves compiling and modeling spatial-temporal fish and environmental data, evaluating predator-prey relationships, conducting literature reviews, supporting field data collection, and producing technical reports and research products. The position requires a related doctorate, at least one year of relevant experience, strong quantitative and communication skills, and familiarity with R, GitHub, GIS, and open science. Travel is anticipated, and the salary is $40.00–$55.00 per hour with benefits.
