Schonfeld is seeking a Quantitative Researcher Intern in the Miami metro area for a 10-week summer internship. The intern will contribute to alpha research by understanding fundamental domains and alternative data, designing novel predictive signals, backtesting and validating hypotheses, and collaborating with researchers and developers on prediction, trade execution, portfolio construction, and risk-management projects. Candidates should be current PhD students in quantitative or technical fields, have strong programming and statistical skills, and be able to communicate research ideas clearly. The internship includes mentorship, workshops, networking, and learning sessions, with an expected annual base pay of $175,000 to $220,000 prorated for the internship duration.
