The Quantity Surveyor will report to the Managing Surveyor and Contracts Manager, overseeing all commercial and contractual aspects of various projects ranging from £200k to £10m. This includes managing costs, developing tenders, negotiating sub-contracts, and ensuring compliance with legal and quality standards. The role involves active participation in the pre-construction phase, supporting cost development, and collaborating with the broader project delivery team.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience across core markets of health and education, including refurbishment and new build.
Extensive experience of working on NEC and JCT contracts (formal accreditation desirable)
Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of current Health and Safety practice and the ability to collaborate with the operational team.
Good understanding of the financial implications of building methods and sequences.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proactive attitude towards delivering construction works to a world-class standard.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with senior clients and subcontractors.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Positive approach to continuous learning, development, and career progression.
Flexible working pattern, including some out-of-hours work to meet client deadlines.
High computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Full UK driving license.
