Universal Quantum is hiring a Quantum Algorithm Scientist to map classical problems to quantum algorithms, estimate logical resources, tailor algorithms for near-term hardware, and design benchmarking and error-characterization experiments. The role requires a PhD or equivalent experience, at least five years of quantum algorithm development and research experience, published research results, strong communication and organizational skills, and customer or partner negotiation experience. Knowledge of quantum error correction, Qiskit or Stim, and Python is preferred.
