planqc is hiring a Quantum Algorithms Engineer - Optimization to design, implement, benchmark, and productionize gate-based quantum optimization algorithms for execution on neutral-atom quantum processors. The role combines quantum algorithm research with professional software engineering, including quantum circuit implementation, compilation, error mitigation, hardware-aware design, and collaboration with compilation, hardware, and applications teams. It is based across planqc locations in Germany and Austria with hybrid work where the role allows.
