Universal Quantum is hiring a Quantum Control Designer to design, model, and test high-fidelity quantum operations. The role involves developing quantum-control methods and physics models from hardware specifications, implementing methods with hardware teams, benchmarking quantum operations, and analyzing experimental results against theory. Candidates need a PhD in quantum computing, quantum control, or a related field; expertise in quantum dynamics, light-matter interactions, circuit-level noise modeling, benchmarking, and scientific programming; and collaboration experience with experimental research or quantum hardware teams. The position may be based in Hamburg or worked remotely from Germany.
