Universal Quantum is hiring a Quantum Control Designer to design, model, and test high-fidelity quantum operations. The role involves developing control methods, physics models, benchmarking procedures, and experimental analyses; collaborating with hardware teams; and using Python and circuit-level quantum noise models. Candidates need a PhD in quantum computing, quantum control, or a similar field, along with experience in quantum control, light-matter interactions, quantum dynamics, and experimental collaboration. The position can be based in Hamburg or worked remotely, but the candidate must be based in Germany.
