Universal Quantum is hiring a Quantum Control Theorist to design control methods for high-fidelity and fast quantum operations, develop physics models from real hardware specifications, implement methods on quantum devices, benchmark operations, and analyze experimental results against theoretical predictions. The role requires experience with quantum control, light-matter interactions, quantum dynamics, circuit-level noise models, Python, and a PhD in quantum computing, quantum control, or a similar field. It can be based in Hamburg or worked remotely, with the candidate required to be based in Germany.
