Description
OQC is hiring a Quantum Engineer (Control) to improve the performance of its quantum processors through advanced control theory, pulse optimisation, processor characterisation, and calibration pipeline development. The role spans experimental validation of high-fidelity qubit operations, pulse design and benchmarking, error mechanism analysis, and transfer of successful control techniques into production software workflows in collaboration with multiple internal engineering teams. Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline, strong Python and scientific programming skills, and experience with quantum systems, optimisation, and experimental data analysis.
