Microsoft Quantum is hiring a Quantum Engineer to design and test scalable readout circuitry for topological qubits across component, subsystem, and system levels. The role involves interfacing with qubit and control teams, documenting and analyzing measurement results, developing engineering tools, and supporting safety and compliance. Candidates need a master's degree in physics, engineering, or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with two or more years of industry or research-and-development experience; additional experience and semiconductor, cryogenic, and RF readout expertise are preferred. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 102,100–202,200 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
