Description
Lockheed Martin Space Advanced Technology Center is hiring a Quantum Opto-electronics Research Manager to lead a multidisciplinary research and development team designing and developing advanced quantum opto-electronic systems for civilian and military aerospace applications. The role covers active optical sensor architecture, laser and nonlinear-optical component development, modeling, laboratory and field testing, prototype development, program and cost-accounting leadership, and technology roadmapping. Candidates need an advanced degree in aerospace engineering, optical science, or a related field, at least 10 years of technology-lead experience, at least 3 years of program and cost-accounting experience, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance. The position offers a full-time salary range of $166,900 to $309,900 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
