Infleqtion is hiring a Quantum Physicist to design, build, calibrate, maintain, and improve neutral-atom quantum computers. The role involves AMO physics research and development across laser systems, quantum processing units, quantum gate protocols, atomic-physics modeling, experimental software, optical systems, and subsystem integration. Candidates should have a PhD in atomic or optical physics or equivalent related experience, strong laboratory and Python skills, and the ability to execute projects independently and collaboratively. More experienced applicants may be considered for a Senior Quantum Physicist level. The position is primarily office- and laboratory-based, may require up to 10% travel, and offers a $130,000–$211,000 annual salary plus benefits.
