Infleqtion is hiring a Quantum Physicist to design, build, calibrate, and maintain neutral-atom quantum computers. The role involves AMO physics research and development across laser systems, quantum processing units, quantum gate protocols, atomic-physics modeling, experiment-control software, optical systems, and subsystem integration. Candidates should have a PhD in atomic or optical physics or equivalent professional experience, strong laboratory and Python skills, and the ability to lead projects, communicate effectively, collaborate, mentor junior staff, and work autonomously. The position is primarily office- and laboratory-based, may require up to 10% travel, and offers an annual salary of $130,000–$211,000 plus incentive eligibility and comprehensive benefits.
