Description

QuantWare is hiring a Quantum R&D Engineer - TWPA to develop Josephson Travelling Wave Parametric Amplifier architectures for quantum processors. The role translates product specifications into layouts and circuit designs, simulates and integrates on-chip components, improves bandwidth and noise performance, and presents technical proposals to stakeholders. Candidates need a PhD or equivalent industry experience in quantum-limited amplification or superconducting microwave circuits, expertise in non-linear metamaterials and Josephson circuits, and more than three years of microwave design and simulation experience with simulation-to-fabrication matching.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: PhD or equivalent industry experience in quantum-limited amplification, parametric amplifiers, or closely related superconducting microwave circuits
Required Previous Experiences: More than three years of hands-on experience with advanced microwave design and simulation, including matching simulations to cryogenic measurement data
Preferred Qualifications: Independent, creative problem-solving in a research and development setting
Excellent communication and cross-disciplinary presentation skills
Passion for qubit readout amplification and performance optimization
