Description
QuEra Computing is hiring a Quantum Scientist to develop system- and algorithm-level performance models for large-scale neutral-atom quantum computers. The role translates device- and architecture-level models into quantitative estimates of algorithmic fidelity, runtime, and time-to-solution, analyzes how hardware constraints and error models affect computational performance, and collaborates with hardware theory, experimental, and application development teams. The scientist will support internal design decisions and external benchmarking efforts, including participation in DARPA’s Quantum Benchmarking Initiative. The position requires at least five years of experience in performance modeling, simulation, or analysis of quantum or complex computational/physical systems, along with a strong background in quantum information science, computational physics, or a related quantitative discipline, and proficiency in Python or Julia.
