Riverlane is hiring a full-time, permanent Quantum Scientist, Government Programs in College Park, Maryland, with a hybrid work arrangement. The role conducts quantum error correction research for government-funded programs, including simulation, data analysis, performance evaluation, experiment design, technical reporting, and presentation to partners. Candidates need a PhD in a relevant field, quantum computing research experience, experimental or simulation experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel within the United States and occasionally to the United Kingdom. The position offers a salary of $120,000 to $175,000 DOE, medical insurance, equity, paid time off, and other benefits.
