Description
Walker Industries is hiring a Quarry Plant Operator at its Severn Pit in Orillia to operate aggregate-processing equipment, including wash plants, crushers, conveyor systems, and CAT skid steer equipment. The role also involves routine inspections and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, monitoring stockpiles, supporting daily production, and maintaining a safe work environment. The position requires at least one year of plant-operator or similar industrial experience, mechanical aptitude, a valid Ontario Class G driver's licence, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and outdoor work in all weather conditions. It offers full-time hours of 40–50 hours per week, afternoon and Saturday shifts as required, and a competitive hourly wage of $30.65 plus a $5.00 afternoon-shift premium.
