ABB is hiring an onsite Mechanical Design Engineer to support the R&D team by contributing to strategic technology and software solutions. The role involves mechanical design, scheme design, 3D modeling, drawing output, prototype verification, design optimization, simulation analysis, and the use of AI-assisted parametric modeling and performance-analysis tools. The engineer will also collaborate across departments to advance project execution and delivery. A master's degree in mechanical engineering, fluency in English, and experience in AI process or tool development are required.
